The vision for this luxury picnic & boho elopement styled shoot for photographers is something Taylor Smith Photo Video & I (better known as The Tayem Photo Co.) have wanted to host since the first day we met.
Although the day was not without its learning curves, we wouldn’t trade a single moment of it!
Certainly, this day would never have been possible without all of our collaborators.
Endless thanks to the following amazing humans who helped make this happen:
Makeup: Brachelle’s Beauty Lounge
Hair: Christina Cline
Hosts & set curation: Em Katrina Photo & Taylor Smith Photo Video
Charcuterie board: The Carving Board
Models: Rachel & Victor Kolbay
When planning this content day, the first place that came to mind was my grandmother’s land. At the end of August the butterfly bushes were in full bloom with all the wildlife floating around.
Rachel & Vic are recently married in April and Taylor was their photographer. These two drove the whole way from Virginia to PA just to be our models and absolutely nailed every bit of it!
The best part about them only getting married 5 months ago? The wedding attire still fit perfectly!! Rachel is one of the few brides who got two wears out of her one dress and it definitely deserved a second appearance!
Taylor and I would begin by putting the couples in poses and snapping a few photos to warm up the other photographers and allow them to shoot alongside us. After a couple of minutes, we would step aside and let them take over directing and moving the couple to build the best content for their brand. And after about 15 minutes we would switch out our groups of photographers, usually split into 2-3 per group.
EXCITINGGGG NEWS!! Taylor and I are moving into a studio space located in the Professional Arts building in downtown Chambersburg, PA where we plan to offer sessions to our clients, rent out to photographers, and host more content days in the new space!
Be sure to follow The Tayem Photo Co. on Facebook & Instagram for updates and info on the studio space, future content days, and workshops!
